Being Blessed

I haven't been able to blog because the auction had taken over Stepping Stones for a good four days :)  And WHAT a blessing those four days were!   While I would have loved to be writing, the fundraiser was much more fulfilling.  We have been so blessed by our friends, family, and people we have never even met!

Thanks to everyone's generosity (through donating items and bidding) we were able to raise over $2,200 towards our adoption fund!  We are absolutely blown away!  We had no expectation for this auction, and were blessed beyond what we could have imagined.

I feel like over the past four days I have learned SO much about the giving hearts of others.  Through both this auction experience, and other random (or not so random) things that have happened to me over the past four days, I am feeling so blessed.

So I sincerely thank each and every one of you for the support you have provided David and I.  Thank you for being willing to support us financially, and thank you for spreading the word about our auction.  Thank you for ordering coffee, and for purchasing fit bands, chosen child necklaces, and for making donations.

Thank you for your prayers.  What an amazingly powerful thing!  Thank you for praying for us, and for our children, and their birth parents.  Thank you for praying for our fundraising, and our travels, and our entire process.

And thank you for supporting us mentally and emotionally.  We love you all for asking us about the process and being as excited as we are about our children.  We thank you for checking the blog and commenting and for loving us.  And for loving our children even before you know them.  We couldn't make it through this process without your kind words.

Thank you for every way you have, and continue to, support us.  We are forever grateful!
